Description
Senior Art Director is responsible for the conceptual development, execution and presentation of print, TV, and collateral material for agency clients. Will work both independently and collaboratively. We're seeking a conceptually-driven Art Director who’s hell-bent on producing great campaigns. This is someone who finds magic in the mundane, values laughter above all else, wants a supportive, familial working environment and believes that anything is possible.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six years agency experience
- An understanding that solid strategy and a fertile sketchbook are the forbearers of brilliant creative
- An exceptional and diverse portfolio
- A strong grasp of color theory, typography and layout
- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Suite and print production principles

Responsible for the execution of basic layouts, including graphics and photography in addition to the preparation of all files for publication, printing and final production.
Qualifications
- Related work experience in either an agency or production facility
- Expert proficiency in Mac OSX programs including Adobe CS2 Premium, Quark, and Microsoft Office
- An understanding of all phases of design, layout and production
- Knowledge of color, paper and all printing processes
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail and a strong sense of design
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Strong team spirit, work ethic and ability to take direction from senior staff
Responsibilities
- Revising existing files (edits, resizes etc.)
- Completing minor layouts
- Preparing project boards for client presentations
- Proofing for spelling, grammar, text formatting, layout accuracy and consistency
- Performing photo color correction and manipulation
- Conducting preflight and file collection for output/delivery based on supplied production specs
- Creating collateral comps for clients and printers
- Conducting press checks
- Maintaining project file archives
